Robyn Clark of @CAB_Athletics is the KWG Productions Henry County High School Athlete of the Week

Robyn Clark of Knightstown High School is the KWG Productions Henry County High School Athlete of the Week.

“Robyn is not only one of our best softball players, including All-Area Centerfielder, but is such a leader on and off the field. She always puts her teammates before herself.

On the softball side, Robyn has 80 career hits, 61 RBIs, and has had numerous double plays – catching a ball in the outfield and gunning them out while trying to tag up.

She never loses sight of the big picture in life. No matter how her day is going in school or softball, she always makes sure that every player (varsity or JV) feels ‘included,’ sensing like a coach or parent when someone is struggling in the game of softball or in life.

She is always an extension of the coaching staff in every way imaginable. She contacts the team when anything is updated or needed. She took senior night by the reins last year and made it extra special and sentimental for all of the seniors.

Whenever we need help working on the diamond, she is there from beginning to end.

She is one of those special people that sets an outstanding example for all of her peers to emulate, and I can’t thank her enough for all she has done and continues to do throughout her career.

She is a way above average softball player and could play in college, 100%. However, she has her focus on what she wants to do for the rest of her life which is working with animals.

Someday, she is going to make a phenomenal wife, mother, and co-worker, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. It is student-athletes like Robyn that makes it so rewarding to coach and makes me look better as a coach. Thank you, Robyn!”

-Bret Mann, KHS Softball Head Coach
