Indians promotions on deck for April 6-12

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Indians will open the 2017 campaign with a seven-game homestand on Thursday, April 6, when they host the Toledo Mud Hens – the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers – at 7:05 p.m. at Victory Field. After four games against Toledo, the Indians welcome the Cleveland Indians’ Triple-A affiliate, the Columbus Clippers, for a three-game set starting Monday, April 10.

Some of the featured promotions will be Bike to the Ballpark, the 60-Degree Weather Guarantee and Opening Night Fireworks on April 6th as well as the year’s first Two-for-One Tuesday.

Details about each series promotions are below:

Thursday, April 6 vs. Toledo – 7:05 p.m.

·         Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

·         Pregame ceremony recognizing three high school state championship basketball teams from the city of Indianapolis

·         First pitches thrown by Mayor Joe Hogsett and Governor Eric Holcomb

·         Schedule magnet giveaway presented by Sun King Brewery

·         Opening Night fireworks presented by Sun King Brewery

Friday, April 7 vs. Toledo – 7:15 p.m.

The Indianapolis Indians are the professional Triple-A baseball club affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The organization’s mission is to provide Indians baseball at Victory Field as affordable and memorable family fun. The Indians play their home games at Victory Field, a 14,200-seat ballpark located in downtown Indianapolis and White River State Park.
