Indy Indians | Tribe Downs Bats, 6-0, as Cole Revisits Victory Field

INDIANAPOLIS (July 6, 2016) – LEDE

Josh Bell homered on the first pitch he saw in the first inning to put the Indians in front.

Indianapolis and Louisville then traded five scoreless innings as both starters settled into a comfortable groove.

Wilfredo Boscan worked six shutout innings before running into trouble in the seventh, allowing two runs in the frame. He finished with six innings, six hits, two runs with one earned, and three strikeouts. Bat’s starter Robert Stephenson notched eight punchouts over 6.1 innings, allowing two runs.

Jose Osuna evened the score at 2-2 with a home run in the seventh, his first in Triple-A.

The series concludes Wednesday afternoon at 1:35 p.m.
